Eoghan Macguire is Lead Editor of the Netherlands-based open source investigative outlet, Bellingcat. He leads a team of editors and social media producers, while also working with dozens of online investigators, to bring stories of significant public interest to light.

 

During Eoghan's time at Bellingcat, the organisation has used online and freely available information to uncover potential war crimes, track the movements of wanted drug cartel leaders and expose the activities of a number of violent, extremist groups.
